Two years after our inaugural r2R ride, VietVelo members from the Saigon Chapter traveled halfway around the world to Washington, DC, to join us for our annual r2R.

What followed was a day filled with laughter, shared suffering on the climbs, inside jokes at every rest stop, and the kind of memories that only happen when good people ride long miles together. From sunrise roll-outs to tired smiles at the finish, the ride reminded us why r2R is more than a route, it’s a tradition. We ended the day at The Answer Brewpub, where—thanks to An Bui, owner of The Answer Brewpub—we tasted fresh-brewed beer that hadn’t even made it into bottles or labels yet. We were so excited about the beer that we completely forgot to capture those precious moments inside The Answer, right where the magic happens.

Legs tired, glasses full, spirits high, and memories that would never fade.
